Easter Seals Buses
In the past you may have seen the Easter Seals Buses which began in 1947 when a handful of BC Lions Club members began using their own station wagons to transport children with disabilities to school. As a result, the Society started the Easter Seals Buses program.
We have specially-equipped buses leased to private agencies transporting children to hospitals, schools, treatment centres and recreational facilities in communities around the province. Some of the Easter Seals Buses programs eventually where adopted by cities who now offer the Handy Dart program.
