Lions VGH Helipad
When you're transporting critically ill or injured patients every second counts. The new $800,000 Helipad at Vancouver General Hospital and Health Science Centre, funded by the BC Lions Society, enables patients from around the province to be transported directly to Vancouver General Hospital, British Columbia's primary acute care and trauma referral hospital. An elevator transfers patients directly from the helipad to the ICU, saving precious time when it counts the most.
