Permanent Art Collection
of the Easter Seals House

In 1985 we opened the Vancouver Easter Seals House with 100 beds.  Filling the House with almost 1 million bed nights it would be an understatement to say that we are a well used place for BC and Yukon families who have children in need of specialized medical attention.

Fast forward to the year 2010 and we realize that the Easter Seals House is in serious need of a renovation.  Fast forward once again to 2016 and we are now about 80% done with renovations.  The House is beautiful with new wall paper, custom made carpeting, new kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms; however, we felt that it was missing something to give it a beautiful finishing touch.  This is where we decided to start a permanent art collection of original works that we could display on the walls of Easter Seals House.

We approached a few artists that had worked with us before and asked them to consider a donation of an original canvas painting for our collection.  We are pleased to announce that the following artists have agreed to donate one or more of their works to us.  We are forever grateful to them for their support.

Rod Charlesworth * Jennifer Ettinger * Jody Broomfield * Valerie Arntzen
Judson Beaumont * Richard Brodeur * Steve Smith * Howard Swaren
Michael Tickner * James Postill *
Marlene Harker * James Tan
Ken Ferris * Jerry Whitehead * Bruce McAdam
