Shell Busey's Easter Seals
Golf Tournament
We are deeply touched by the generous support of everyone who supported the Shell Busey's Easter Seals Golf Tournament in July. Over 146 people golfed and/or attended the dinner and roast and helped raise nearly $15,000 in support of Easter Seals programs and services in BC.
Funds raised through registration fees, sponsorships, the silent and live auctions and other onsite fundraising will directly benefit the day to day operations of services like Vancouver Easter Seals House. This house has 49 rooms and provides a low cost caring place to stay for more than 100 parents and chldren per night - totalling over 32,000 stays per year. Easter Seals House provides families with the opportunity to stay close by or with their children while they receive medical treatment.
Watch for the golf tournament to be recognized during the Timmy's Christmas Telethon on Sunday, December 9th. This telethon will be aired live from the Shaw studios in Vancouver from 4pm - 10pm.
