The Drop Zone in Vancouver
It's
a bird! It's a plane!
No, it's Vancouverites rappelling down 20 storeys for BC's Children
with Disabilities.
BAM! KAPOW! SHAZZAM! Are you ready to take the plunge for the kids? Embrace the thrill of The Drop Zone, taking place every September in downtown Vancouver where average Janes and Joes can be superheroes for the day at 999 West Hastings Street.
Since 2005, more than 600 people have joined the exclusive Superhero Club for Easter Seals, raising over $1 million dollars for kids and adults with disabilities across Canada.
Every superhero must raise a minimum of $1500 to participate in the event. The money raised at the Vancouver event will benefit Easter Seal Houses in Vancouver, Prince George and Victoria as well as summer camps for children with disabilities in Shawnigan, Winfield and Squamish.
The Easter Seals Drop Zone is produced by the BC Lions Society for Children
with Disabilities. To register or to sponsor a superhero, visit www.thedropzone.ca.
