Lions/Lioness/Leo Clubs & Organizations
The British Columbia Lions Society for Children with Disabilities receives tremendous support from the Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs within the Multiple District 19 Lions International Service Organization. This organization started in 1917 and is now the biggest service organization in the world. The BC Lions Society receives support from 5 districts within the multiple districts. The districts cover all of the communities in British Columbia.
Support from the Lions and Lioness come in many ways from monetary donations to covering the cost of camperships and Easter Seal House stays to purchasing equipment and donating large items to our services. The Clubs also have two Improvement Committees dedicated to keeping Camps Winfield and Shawnigan as safe as possible and as up to date as possible.
Through 252 Clubs within BC and over 5000 members, the Lions and Lioness Members also fundraise for the Society through events in their communities and as well as volunteer their time to help us run events and deliver our services.
Your Club donations help many kids and their families in your community. Download our donation form and send in your donation today!
Each year the British Columbia Lions for Children with Disabilities recognizes the Lions and Lioness clubs within each district that have donated the highest amount to the Easter Seal Services. For more information and the list of the current recipients please go to our BC Lions Society Awards page.
